Our culture, our passion, our inspiration
There is a funny thing that happens when creative souls join forces. A kind of elecricity that fills the air and performs its magic on everyone it touches. It travels through word, rhythm and sound and can transport one to dreamlike scapes on the flight of fantasy and joy.
Sunday 7 July, come listen to the music of Ghoema and Tempo nominee singer/songwriter DANELLE, as she together with Bernard Kruger, creates a 7-piece band with only 2 members.
It is a joyful exploration of voice and instruments (piano, guitar, banjo, bass, harmonica, jembe, frog) creatively weaved by the narrative and poetry of Emmaleen Kriel (author of “Close the door softly behind you” and “Jam every other day”).
